Job Title: Construction Manager – Oil & Gas (EPC - Offshore Projects) Location: Kattupalli, Cehnnai Department: Construction / Projects Experience Required: 18+ Years Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Manager to oversee EPC offshore oil & gas projects , including FPSO topsides, subsea structures, platform hook-up, module fabrication, and rig construction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership in managing fabrication yards, offshore campaigns, and interface coordination for large-scale EPC projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage EPC offshore construction activities from yard fabrication to offshore installation and hook-up. Supervise piping, mechanical, structural, and E&I scopes related to FPSO modules, subsea manifolds, risers, and SURF/SPS structures. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, subcontractors, and QA/QC teams to ensure timely execution. Conduct constructability reviews, approve method statements, and oversee work pack preparation. Manage project schedules, manpower planning, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure HSE compliance, QA/QC standards, and proper documentation throughout project phases. Interface with clients, classification societies, and vendors to resolve technical and execution issues. Oversee pre-commissioning and handover to commissioning teams. Must-Have Requirements: Minimum 18+ years of experience in EPC offshore oil & gas construction . Proven track record in executing FPSO, subsea structures, riser spools, platform hook-ups, and brownfield projects. Hands-on experience in fabrication yard management, module assembly, load-out, and offshore execution. In-depth understanding of welding, hydrotesting, mechanical completion, and hook-up procedures. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Strong team leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
