About the role

As a Computer Vision Intern, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the DNA of our product experience. Your primary focus will be advancing our Vision AI capabilities, from training custom CV models to experimenting with the latest VLMs. You’ll also contribute to building secure and scalable backend systems that power real-time safety monitoring for global industrial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the founders to design and develop new features.
• Develop and optimise computer vision models (e.g., YOLO, pose estimation, safety-specific detections)
• Experiment with new techniques and state-of-the-art VLMs for real-time understanding of camera feeds
• Extend and maintain our FastAPI backend and core infrastructure
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability — from data pipelines to alerting workflows

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with deep learning and computer vision (training and deploying models)
• Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience working with FastAPI/Django backends
• Good understanding of databases (relational or NoSQL)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Good to have

• Experience with NVIDIA DeepStream, ONNX Runtime, or real-time video inference
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Keen interest in new AI paradigms such as VLMs and multimodal reasoning systems
