Computer Science Teacher

Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curriculum

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons for IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science as per the Cambridge curriculum.
• Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including CAIE (Cambridge) board exams.
• Create lesson plans that develop programming, computational thinking, algorithms, and data management skills.
• Utilize modern teaching techniques and digital tools to enhance learning outcomes.
• Evaluate students' academic performance through assignments, projects, practicals, and tests.
• Maintain records of student progress and report regularly to parents and school management.
• Participate actively in departmental planning, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Guide students in developing real-world IT projects and encourage innovation.
• Ensure classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Stay updated with developments in technology and teaching methodologies.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in Cambridge IGCSE/A-Level curriculum.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++ preferred).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with online learning platforms and educational technologies.
• Passion for education and student development.
