Education: Preferred Graduate in Electronics & Communication Engineering

Experience: 4 to 5 Yrs.

Work Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore

Essential

Good understanding on Electrical / Electronic components, application & types.

Ability to understand component functionalities. Willing to guide or mentor the team

Experience with part sourcing/Engineering for cost reduction ideas &drive productivity. Support redesign of electronics circuit to reduce the product cost.

Knowledge in RoHS, REACH and WEEE - Global environmental compliance directives, EU ROHS and full material content declaration.

Experience creating electronics component master data, footprint and symbols for IPC and corporate standards.

Develop the commodity roadmaps by conducting research on various E&E components categories

Suggestion of form fit functional/ alternates for risk and sole source components parts

Component obsolescence management

Proactive obsolescence, component risk, Long Lead and part life cycle management

Engineering change management and part change management

BOM Cleansing, standardization, and documentation support to all component activities

Managing the Approved part list (APL) and Approved vendor list (AVL)

Experience with components master data, BOM Structure component costing and engineering change process

Interfacing the vendors for component availability and EOL details

Responsible for collection, Analysis and archival of the component information related to environmental compliance.

Monitor, identify and resolve all lifecycle issues and assist various teams to identify appropriate resources and substitute for components

Experience working with various PCBA manufacturers and solving component related issues as they noticed or arise.

Understanding the semiconductor manufacturing and packaging.

Support for component selection based on the requirement provided by Design engineer

Solid understanding the of Agile PLM or any ERP/PLM tools added advantage
