Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Compliance Officer to ensure that all business operations, employee-related documentation, and statutory processes adhere to applicable legal and company standards. The role involves maintaining accurate compliance records, ensuring timely statutory filings, and verifying legal documents including stamp and notary agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, and Shops & Establishment Act.
• Maintain and update all statutory compliance registers and ensure timely submissions to authorities.
• Handle stamp paper procurement, notary coordination, and agreement verification for employee, vendor, and client contracts.
• Verify the authenticity of stamp papers and notarized documents through official government portals.
• Coordinate for licence renewals, vendor agreements, and third-party compliance documentation.
• Support HR and Accounts teams in ensuring statutory deductions and filings are accurate and timely.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports for management review.
• Keep updated with amendments in labour laws, company policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Maintain organized records of all compliance-related documents (digital and physical).

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in Law, or Human Resources.
• 2–5 years of experience in compliance management, statutory filings, or HR operations or practicing in court.
• Basic understanding of labour laws, PF/ESIC, contract management, and notary procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and document management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination ability with internal teams and government officials.
