  • Educational Qualifications Bachelors / Masters
  • Work Experience – 5 year working experience in handling compliance of QSR
  • Domain Expertise –Experience/Knowledge in compliances related to PT, PF, ESIC, LWF, Abstracts, excel, strong communication skills

Detailed Job Description

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates within the law and meets current regulatory standards.

  • Labor Welfare Fund (LWF):

  • Ensure timely deduction of LWF from employees' salaries as per state regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of LWF contributions.
  • Prepare and file LWF returns within the prescribed timelines.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities for any queries or issues.

Professional Tax (PT):

  • Ensure accurate calculation and deduction of Professional Tax from employees’ salaries.
  • Prepare and submit PT returns as per state-specific deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of PT deductions and payments.
  • Address any discrepancies or issues related to PT with local authorities.

Provident Fund (PF):

  • Ensure timely and accurate contribution to the Provident Fund for all eligible employees.
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual PF returns.
  • Handle PF withdrawals, transfers, and claims for employees.
  • Maintain detailed records of PF contributions, challans, and correspondence with the PF department.

Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC):

  • Ensure timely enrollment of eligible employees under ESIC.
  • Ensure accurate and timely contribution to ESIC.
  • Prepare and file ESIC returns within prescribed timelines.
  • Manage ESIC claims and benefits for employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of ESIC contributions and correspondence.

Ensuring abstracts and legal portal are updated

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in HR, compliance, or a similar role, with specific experience in background verification and/or medical process management preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
