Market-standard

We are looking for a Compliance Manager who can own and streamline statutory and regulatory compliance for our clients and support our internal product and operations teams with strong domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track statutory compliances for MSME/Startup clients (GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF/ESI, ROC and other applicable laws).
• Review returns, filings and workings prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
• Maintain compliance calendars, documentation and evidence in a structured, digital manner.
• Liaise with external stakeholders (consultants, departments, auditors) as needed.
• Identify compliance risks and suggest process improvements to reduce misses and manual effort.
• Work closely with the product team to give practical inputs on workflows, checklists and dashboards.
• Prepare simple, clear compliance updates and explanations for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Tax / Law / Accounting (e.g. B.Com, BBA, LLB or similar).
• 25 years of experience in compliance, accounting or tax for MSMEs / startups / small businesses.
• Strong working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and ROC compliances.
• Comfortable working with digital tools, spreadsheets and cloud-based systems.
• Attention to detail, ownership mindset and ability to work with evolving processes in a startup environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a CA firm, compliance-focused role or fintech/Reg-Tech environment.
• Exposure to process design, SOPs or internal audits.
