Job Description

Location: Hyderabad

Ensure full compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and other applicable financial and corporate laws relevant to a financial brokering startup.
Prepare and file statutory returns, maintain statutory registers and records, and handle all filings with the Registrar of Companies, SEBI, stock exchanges (if applicable), and other regulatory authorities.
Organize and coordinate Board, Committee, and Shareholder meetings, including drafting of notices, agendas, minutes, resolutions, and related documents.
Manage demat-related processes including opening of demat accounts, ISIN applications, corporate actions, share transfers, and liaising with depositories (NSDL/CDSL).
Liaise and coordinate with bankers, custodians, legal advisors, auditors, and other key stakeholders for smooth regulatory and operational functioning.
Support the founders and leadership team on compliance matters related to broking operations, licensing, investor onboarding, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Skills

Qualified Company Secretary (Member of ICSI).
Strong working knowledge of the Companies Act 2013, FEMA, SEBI guidelines, and startup-related compliance frameworks.
Excellent drafting skills with proficiency in professional communication, notices, agendas, minutes, and regulatory correspondences.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, work in a fast-paced startup environment, and manage end-to-end compliance workflows.
Strong coordination skills with regulatory bodies, banks, and internal teams.
