Job Title: Company Secretary / Legal Executive Location: Andheri East, Mumbai Experience Required: Minimum 3 Years Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office Working Days: Monday to Saturday Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Company Secretary / Legal Executive to join our legal and compliance team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in handling corporate legal matters, vendor and employee agreements, and statutory compliance within a corporate environment. This role demands high attention to detail, strong drafting skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive documentation and regulatory obligations. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and manage Vendor Agreements, Retainer Contracts, and Third-party Service Agreements Handle Employee-related legal documentation and address any labour law-related compliance matters Prepare and renew Rental Agreements and ensure all property-related documentation is compliant and up-to-date Ensure timely filings and secretarial compliance as per the Companies Act, 2013 Coordinate with external legal counsel for specific litigation or advisory matters when required Maintain and update records related to ROC filings, board resolutions, and statutory registers Interpret legal clauses in contracts and mitigate associated risks for the organization Support the internal audit process from a legal and compliance standpoint Track contract renewal timelines and regulatory due dates, ensuring timely action Assist in creating internal policies and legal templates aligned with business needs Key Requirements: Qualified Company Secretary (CS) – Membership of ICSI is preferred Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM) is an added advantage Minimum 3 years of experience working in a legal/compliance role within corporate sector Strong knowledge of Companies Act, Contract Act, Labour Laws, and related statutes Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance management Excellent communication, legal interpretation, and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with legal documentation software/tools Preferred Candidate: Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period Experience working in mid to large-scale companies with exposure to cross-functional departments Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹287,436.69 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Supplemental Pay: Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
