About SamaSocial

SamaSocial is an AI-powered social network designed to give disadvantaged youth in India (ages 18–25) equitable access to opportunities.We help students discover and pursue pathways in technology, arts, entrepreneurship, sustainability, policy, sports, and more—through mentorship, peer collaboration, and curated programs.

Role Overview

At this early stage, the Community & Partnerships Manager will play a strategic role in building and energizing SamaSocial’s ecosystem.You will not only nurture the student and mentor communities but also drive the onboarding of NGOs, corporates, and other partners to make the platform vibrant, inclusive, and impactful.

What You’ll Do

• Build the ecosystem: Identify, onboard, and manage NGOs, corporates, mentors, and student networks as active partners on the platform.
• Engage students and mentors: Create simple, effective programs and interactions that encourage collaboration, sharing, and learning.
• Design onboarding journeys: Ensure that each stakeholder—student, mentor, or partner—has a smooth entry and clear value in joining the platform.
• Strengthen inclusivity: Work with regional organizations and language groups to make SamaSocial accessible to youth from diverse geographies.
• Community activation: Organize events, workshops, and campaigns (online and offline) to keep the platform active and visible.
• Feedback loop: Collect insights from users and partners and work with the team to refine platform features and community practices.
• Storytelling & visibility: Share success stories and case studies that inspire new members to join and contribute.
  

Who You Are

• Strong interest in youth empowerment, education, and social inclusion.
• Skilled in building relationships with NGOs, corporates, and networks.
• A confident communicator who can engage with both grassroots organizations and senior professionals.
• Organized and proactive—able to balance day-to-day community engagement with long-term ecosystem building.
• Comfortable working in a resource-limited, fast-moving startup environment.
• Bonus: Experience in partnerships, CSR initiatives, or student/youth programs.

Compensation

We are a non-profit organisation; compensation is not at par with corporate salaries. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working in the social sector and willing to make some trade-offs in terms of pay in exchange for meaningful impact.That said, we ensure fairness and parity across the team. For this role, the compensation range will be ₹3–5 LPA, and we will discuss the exact figure during the hiring process based on experience and fit.
