Community Mobiliser

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential candidates for on-going skilling programs.
• Conduct outreach activities including community meetings, workshops, and information sessions to promote skilling opportunities.
• Assist candidates with the enrolment process and provide program-related information.
• Build and maintain relationships with ITIs, local colleges, community organizations, and local leaders to support candidate mobilization.
• Coordinate with ITIs to identify potential candidates and ensure smooth enrolment processes.
• Organize and participate in community events to raise awareness about skilling programs.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and enrolment data.
• Support the Centre Manager by performing any other assigned tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in social work, Community Development, Education, or a related field. Proven experience in community mobilization, outreach, or a similar role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using outreach and mobilization tools and software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for community development and education.
