We are reimagining how companies discover, engage, and work with independent talent across India and globally. At the core of WorkWall is a strong, trusted contractor community - and this role is critical to building that foundation.

We are looking for an experienced Community Manager to build, grow, and scale a pan-India contractor community. This role owns the community end-to-end, from strategy and onboarding to engagement, retention, and advocacy. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team to shape the community vision and translate it into execution on ground.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, grow, and manage a nationwide contractor community across India
• Design and execute community growth strategies including onboarding, engagement, and retention
• Plan and run community initiatives such as webinars, AMAs, meetups, city chapters, and referral programs
• Work closely with founders to align community strategy with business goals
• Act as the primary point of contact and advocate for the contractor community
• Collect community feedback and convert insights into actionable improvements
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams
• Manage community platforms such as WhatsApp, Slack, Discord, or forums
• Track and report community growth, engagement, and health metrics
• Travel extensively across India to build and strengthen regional community presence

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in community management or related roles
• Must have built and scaled a community in the past (any domain or industry)
• Prior experience working in a startup or fast-growing company
• Comfortable with extensive travel across India
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with high ownership and accountability
