Join Us as a Communication Manager in Our Mission!


As a Communication Manager at Sampark Foundation, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing communication strategies that amplify the Foundation's impact in the education sector across India. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of education issues, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.


Responsibilities


  1. Strategic Communication Planning

    : Develop and implement communication plans that align with Organizational goals and objectives, ensuring effective communication of its impact on education.
  2. Storytelling and Content Creation:

    Craft compelling narratives, success stories, and multimedia content that showcase the Organization's initiatives and their positive influence on education outcomes.
  3.  

    Media Relations:

    Cultivate and manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Coordinate press releases, media interviews, and features to highlight the Foundation's work.
  4. Digital and Social Media Management

    : Oversee Organization’s online presence, managing social media platforms, website content, and online campaigns. Leverage digital channels to engage the community.
  5.  

    Internal Communication:

    Facilitate transparent and effective internal communication. Develop and disseminate newsletters, reports, and updates to keep Employees, Donors and Partners informed about the Organization’s Program and achievements.
  6. Community Engagement:

    Develop communication strategies to engage with communities impacted by the Foundation's initiatives. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders and ensure community voices are reflected in communication materials.
  7.  

    Event Management:

    Plan and execute events, conferences, and workshops to promote awareness of Organization’s mission and initiatives.
  8.  

    Collaboration and Partnerships:

    Work collaboratively with program managers, educators, and government officials to ensure alignment in communication efforts. Build and maintain positive relationships with key partners in the education sector.


Essential Skills

The successful applicant will have the following qualities / experience:

  • At least 5-8 years’ experience within a high-profile, demanding professional environment.
  • Highly organized, efficient and a problem solver.
  • Excellent English (written & spoken), with a clear, persuasive writing style.
  • A ‘grammar Nazi’ with good presentation skills
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, to deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as necessary.
  • Proven expertise in digital, social or mainstream media (PR)


 

Educational Qualifications

A Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related areas.
