About us: The Lighthouse Project (A division of Swades Foundation) aims to Build Socially Conscious and Contributing Citizens. We connect Working Professionals & Adults pursuing higher education with Youth from under-resourced communities through mentoring. We focus on building Values, Life & Social Skills; thus enabling Youth to grow into socially conscious and contributing citizens with a sustainable livelihood. Primary Role Description: Build visibility of the organization and its work Plan & Execute engagement and communication initiatives across media platforms (Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) Conduct activities to engage Lighthouse Mentors (Volunteers) & Mentees (beneficiaries of the program) through events Document & communicate the impact of the Mentoring program across various media platforms Manage all Communication related requirements of the organisation Oversee the Volunteer Application system Key Requirements: Passionate about working in the Social Sector with Volunteers, Under resourced youth & Communities Experience in planning & organising social events Natural flair to build relationships & confident in communicating with people Self-motivated individual with the ability to take initiatives Excellent Communication skills – oral and written Good critical thinking and decision-making skills Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills Knowledge of using Canva, InShot, video editing through phone Apps and other relevant skills Educational Background: Graduate/Post graduate in any stream or related to Arts, Mass Media, Management, Digital Marketing, Communication Languages: Fluency in English a must along with working knowledge of either Hindi or Marathi Work Experience: 2 to 5 years in the Corporate/Non-profit Sector in roles relevant to the skills required Desired start date: As soon as possible Salary: 6 lakhs p.a. to 9 lakhs p.a.
