Commis Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Commis Chef, you will assist in the preparation and production of high-quality dishes, working under the supervision of senior chefs. This role is ideal for someone starting their culinary career and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in line with established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
• Follow instructions and work collaboratively with other kitchen team members.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.
• Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Contribute to minimizing food waste.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential (training will be provided).
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food hygiene.
• Culinary school certification (desirable but not required).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
