Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef (Indian Cuisine) at The Wave Goa, located in Goa, India. The Commis Chef will assist in the daily food preparation, including cutting vegetables, preparing sauces, and cooking various dishes according to recipes provided by the head chef. Responsibilities also include maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, ensuring efficient food service, and communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. The role involves working closely with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Culinary Skills
• Cooking skills and experience in Indian Cuisine
• Knowledge and practice of Hygiene standards
• Strong Communication skills for effective team collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying tasks
• Relevant culinary education or certification is a plus
