Commis Chef

• Food Preparation:
• Cleans, cuts, and prepares ingredients like fruits, vegetables, herbs, and salad items.
• Prepares various dishes, including sandwiches, salads, and vegetables.
• Maintains kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Cooking:
• Cooks basic dishes such as bacon, potatoes, eggs, and pasta.
• Assists in the cooking of more complex dishes as directed by senior chefs.
• Mise en Place:
• Organizes and prepares ingredients, including chopping, washing, and seasoning, for use in cooking.
• Prepares ingredients for the station head and ensures heavy production demands are met.
• Kitchen Management:
• Monitors stock levels and requisitions items for the station.
• Accepts and stores deliveries, ensuring proper storage procedures are followed.
• Hygiene and Safety:
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Ensures food safety by following proper handling procedures and temperature checks.
• Other Duties:
• Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and inventory.
• May be responsible for plating dishes.
• May be required to educate and guide junior chefs.

Required Skills:

• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food handling procedures.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
