We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commi 1 – South Indian Chef to assist in preparing authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and consistency. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the South Indian section independently during service and supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare South Indian dishes such as Dosa, Idli, Vada, Upma, Pongal, Sambar, Rasam, and Chutneys
Assist in buffet, a la carte, and live counter operations
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
Prepare mise en place and manage daily production efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI standards
Follow FIFO, portion control, and food cost guidelines
Support CDP and Sous Chef during service hours
Handle kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues
Ensure smooth operations during peak service periods

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in South Indian cuisine
Experience as Commi 1 or Senior Commi preferred
Strong knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
