Commercial Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for two main aspects in this role - Scrap Procurement and Sales of Patra and Pipe. As a Scrap Procurement specialist, you will identify and build a network of scrap vendors and suppliers, ensuring the procurement of high-quality scrap material at competitive rates. You will also track market rates, trends, and forecast price fluctuations to minimize costs. Collaboration with the quality and operations teams to guarantee that the procured scrap meets the company's standards will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be in charge of monitoring and managing scrap inventory to ensure timely availability. In the Sales of Patra and Pipe segment, your duties will include developing and expanding the customer base for the sales of steel Patra (sheets) and pipes. You will be required to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective price negotiation and order finalization with clients. Generating and finalizing contracts, preparing quotations and proforma invoices, and staying updated on market demand, pricing trends, and competitor activities are also key responsibilities. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate closely with the logistics and dispatch team to ensure on-time deliveries and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
