Position Overview

We are seeking passionate, experienced, and knowledgeable College Admissions Consultants to join our team. This role focuses on providing personalized guidance and strategic support to students aspiring to gain admission to top undergraduate programs in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the US college admissions process, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor students effectively to help them achieve their educational goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Admissions Strategy Development:

    Collaborate with students to build tailored college admissions strategies, including school selection, academic focus areas, and extracurricular activities.
  • Application Support:

    Guide students in crafting compelling application components, including personal statements, supplemental essays, resumes, and activity lists.
  • Profile Building:

    Assist students in strengthening their overall profiles through strategic planning of activities, internships, and leadership roles.
  • Interview Preparation:

    Coach students for college admissions interviews, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared.
  • Timely Updates:

    Keep students and their families informed about application timelines, deadlines, and requirements.
  • Knowledge Sharing:

    Stay up-to-date with trends and changes in the US college admissions landscape and share insights with students and team members.
  • Workshops and Seminars:

    Conduct group sessions on topics such as essay writing, choosing the right college, and financial aid applications, as needed.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Foster strong relationships with students and their families, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with the consulting experience.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background:

    A bachelor’s degree (required); a degree from a top US college or university is highly preferred.
  • Admissions Experience:

    Prior experience in college admissions consulting, academic advising, or related fields is strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills:

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor students in crafting unique and impactful essays.
  • Knowledge:

    In-depth understanding of the US undergraduate admissions process, including knowledge of standardized testing, financial aid, and extracurricular planning.
  • Interpersonal Skills:

    Strong ability to connect with students and families, offering empathy, encouragement, and guidance.
  • Organization:

    Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple students and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Cultural Awareness:

    Sensitivity to working with students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds.
