About What The Fish (WTF):

What The Fish is a social enterprise under the Mindora Foundation, focused on creating value-added fish products that are nutritious, innovative, and sustainable. We already operate a fully equipped fish processing centre, supported by trained manpower, established input channels, and strong branding and packaging systems. Our mission is to empower local communities, improve livelihoods, and revolutionize the fishery sector through innovation and responsible enterprise.

Position: Co-Founder and Managing Director (Operations & Growth)

We’re not looking for just an investor — we’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial partner who can take charge and grow this brand into a profitable model within 6 months.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal co-founder is someone who:

• Has an entrepreneurial mindset and thrives on challenges.
• Possesses strong leadership, management, and problem-solving skills.
• Brings hands-on experience or keen interest in agribusiness, fisheries, food processing, or startups.
• Is passionate about social impact and sustainable enterprise.
• Can take ownership of operations and build a growth-oriented ecosystem around it.
• Has excellent communication and networking abilities to build market linkages, partnerships, and distribution channels.
• Is results-oriented, resourceful, and ready to work on the ground.
• Confident to generate revenue for the company and for himself, rather than salary.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the processing centre.
• Develop and manage supply chain and production efficiency.
• Lead sales, marketing, and branding initiatives to scale the business.
• Identify and establish market linkages — local, regional, and institutional.
• Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability within set timelines.
• Innovate new fish-based value-added products aligned with market trends.
• Coordinate with Mindora Foundation’s leadership for strategy and impact goals.

Processing Centre (Assam) — field-based role with regional travel as required.

It is not a salaried role, the growth of the company will be directly proportional to the growth of the person holding the position of Co- Founder and Managing Director.
