CNC Programmer Swiss Sliding Head Machine Hanwha /Star/Citizen/Tsugami

Position Summary: We are seeking a proficient and experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in Swiss sliding head machines equipped with Fanuc controllers. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Swiss CNC machines to manufacture high-precision orthopedic implant components. This is a critical role within our manufacturing team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and top-notch quality in our production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming: Write, modify, and optimize CNC programs for Swiss sliding head machines (Fanuc controller) to produce orthopedic implant components with tight tolerances.
• Machine Setup: Set up and calibrate Swiss CNC machines, ensuring the proper selection of tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Operation Monitoring: Oversee the operation of CNC machines, adjusting parameters and troubleshooting to maintain smooth production processes.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to verify conformity to technical drawings and specifications.
• CAD/CAM Integration: Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of CAD/CAM data and optimize machining processes.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of programs, machine logs, and quality reports for traceability and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Work with the team to identify areas for process improvement, ensuring increased productivity, reduced waste, and higher quality outputs.
• Safety & Maintenance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Perform regular maintenance and basic troubleshooting of the CNC machines to ensure their optimal functioning.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience programming and operating Swiss sliding head CNC machines with Fanuc controllers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of CNC programming, particularly G-code and Fanuc CNC systems.
• Precision Machining: Experience in high-precision machining, preferably for the medical device or orthopedic implant industry.
• CAD/CAM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, SolidWorks, etc.) for program generation.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to resolve machining issues efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Understanding of ISO 13485 or other medical device quality standards is a plus.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.

Desired Skills:

• Experience specifically with Fanuc controllers and Swiss CNC machines (Hanwha,Star, Citizen, etc.).
• Knowledge of machining materials used in orthopedic implants, such as titanium, stainless steel, and medical-grade alloys.
• Familiarity with advanced machining techniques for high-precision, small-batch production.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for Swiss turning operations.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
