The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of CNC machining, tool path generation, and process optimization for high-precision components used in medical devices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs for 5-axis HAAS VF2 machining centers. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM models, and manufacturing instructions. Create tool paths using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar). Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds to achieve the best balance of efficiency and surface finish. Simulate and verify programs to prevent collisions or toolpath errors. Set up machines for first runs and troubleshoot any programming or machining issues. Work closely with the production and quality team to ensure precision and compliance with specifications. Maintain records of CNC programs and ensure version control. Suggest improvements in programming or process to increase productivity and reduce scrap. Qualifications: Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field. 3–6 years of proven experience in CNC programming (3-axis and 5-axis). Hands-on experience with HAAS VF2 machines . Proficiency in CAM software like Mastercam, Fusion 360, or Siemens NX. Knowledge of orthopedic implant machining is a strong advantage. Good understanding of GD&T, tooling, and materials used in medical-grade components.
