Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing and scaling up the Rural Business banking business in the assigned geography. Your main focus will be on creating strategies to achieve growth targets for the branches, managing operations and resources efficiently, and ensuring high-quality customer service delivery. You will work closely with product and operations teams to drive customer acquisition, servicing, and deepening while building teams, systems, processes, and culture relevant to the branch network scale. Key Responsibilities: - Support in achieving business goals and targets by building a strong business network. - Understand the competitive landscape and market dynamics to provide necessary feedback to product teams. - Manage a team of branch managers to drive client acquisition, deepen existing relationships, and address customer needs by providing banking services. - Ensure pricing, business processes, and policies are in the organization's best interest. - Build networks to sell multiple products across different locations. - Share knowledge with other regions, cluster branches, and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs. - Conduct regular business reviews with the team to ensure well-executed strategies. - Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations and applicable laws. - Cultivate relationships with individual and corporate customers. - Spearhead manpower planning, recruitment, and training processes for both on-roll and off-roll employees to ensure high-performing talent at all levels. - Develop and implement livelihood advancement and community development initiatives. - Provide training, coaching, development, and guidance to bring out the best in branch personnel. - Evaluate the feasibility of new initiatives from an offering, channel, and process point of view to improve operational efficiency. - Collaborate with other branch departments and functions to provide products and service offerings to customers.
