Role Description

The Cluster Business Manager will oversee and drive business growth within the designated region by managing key channel partnerships and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune and involves developing and executing business strategies, mentoring and leading a high-performing team, and maintaining effective relationships with partners. Responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, implementing on-ground strategies, driving productivity, and ensuring compliance with company standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in sales, business development, and channel management within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Demonstrated ability in team leadership, mentorship, and achieving sales targets or business objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, effectively working with partners and internal teams.
• Highly analytical and structured approach to problem solving, with strong business acumen.
• Proficiency in sales reporting, performance evaluation, and utilizing tools to track results.
• Ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Prior experience with bancassurance is preferred; a background in insurance or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent qualifications would be an advantage.
