About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Core Development:

   Design and build high-performance microservices using 

  Python (Flask/FastAPI)

  .

• Data Management:

   Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries using 

  PostgreSQL

   and 

  SQLAlchemy

  .

• Quality & Security:

   Implement 

  TDD

   (Test Driven Development) practices and integrate 

  SAST/SCA tools

   (SonarQube, Dependency Track) into the CI/CD pipeline.

• API Standards:

   Design and document APIs using 

  OpenAPI/Swagger

   specifications.

• DevOps Integration:

   Maintain code versioning via 

  Git

   and support DevOps to manage deployment pipelines using tools like 

  GitHub Actions

   or Cloud Build.

• Ownership:

   Work independently with minimal supervision, taking features from concept to deployment.

Must-Have Skills:

• Python Mastery:

   4+ years of deep experience with 

  Flask

   or 

  FastAPI

  .

• API Design:

   Strong grasp of 

  REST

   principles and HTTP standards.

• Database:

   Proficiency in 

  PostgreSQL

   and ORM (SQLAlchemy).

• Tooling:

   Advanced usage of 

  Git

   and CI/CD pipelines.

• Independence:

   Proven ability to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.

• Communication:

   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Modern Tech:

   Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Frontend:

   Exposure to ReactJS or NextJS.

• Security & Testing:

   Experience with 

  SonarQube

• Domain Knowledge:

   Background in Finance, Banking, or Insurance.
