Job Title: DevOps Engineer Department: Engineering / Infrastructure & Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 5–12 years Job OverviewAs a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications by leveraging automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery. You will collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to build seamless deployment pipelines, enhance infrastructure, and support mission-critical services. We are looking for highly motivated engineers who thrive on solving complex production issues, driving automation, and delivering reliable services to customers. Key ResponsibilitiesSolve complex problems in production environments and implement effective solutions. Build and maintain automated infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools and practices. Provide production engineering support, including on-call rotation responsibilities. Work collaboratively in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment. Engage regularly with internal teams, partners, and customers. Contribute to development projects focused on infrastructure-as-code and automation. Optimize public cloud usage and select appropriate tools for cost efficiency. Participate in performance tuning, capacity planning, and high-availability infrastructure design. Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures. Required Skills & Experience5–12 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Strong programming/scripting skills in Python or GoLang. Deep expertise in Enterprise Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) – including automation, performance tuning, and system security. Experience in managing and troubleshooting VMware VMs and ESX environments. Good understanding of Storage and SAN solutions. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Proficiency in container orchestration and microservices using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, etc. Experience with CI/CD tools – GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD. Familiarity with monitoring and incident management tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Kibana, PagerDuty, or Opsgenie. Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis. Strong grasp of operational processes, performance optimization, and infrastructure architecture. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Educational QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Preferred Certifications (Optional)AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Azure DevOps Expert Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
