To support our growing operations, we are looking for a proactive and relationshipdriven Client Relations Officer to strengthen client engagement and support our Accounts Receivable team.
Role Overview:
The Client Relations Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining healthy client relationships post-deal closure, ensuring timely payment collections and providing a supporting hand to the Accounts Receivable team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a client-focused approach, and the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients after deal closure, ensuring smooth onboarding and addressing initial queries.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to foster trust and repeat business opportunities.
Maintain a regular communication schedule with clients through calls, emails, and meetings to provide support and updates.
Accounts Receivable Support
Collaborate closely with the Accounts Receivable team to monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients for timely collections.
Proactively communicate payment terms, reminders, and escalate delays where necessary.
Address client concerns regarding invoices or payment processes and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
Maintain an updated record of all client communications and payment commitments.
Reporting & Coordination
Provide weekly updates on payment statuses, pending collections, and potential risks to the finance team.
Assist in preparing aging reports and collection forecasts.
Work cross-functionally with sales, production, and finance teams to ensure seamless client servicing.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive client interactions.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
Basic understanding of Accounts Receivable processes and financial terminology.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem-solving attitude with a focus on client satisfaction and company cash flow.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree in commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
1 3 years of experience in client servicing, account management, or finance support roles (preferably in B2B services or events industry).
Familiarity with CRM tools or accounting software (Zoho, Tally, etc.) is an advantage
