civil site engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Site Engineer to manage, supervise, and execute day-to-day construction activities at the site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is carried out as per the approved plans, specifications, and within the timeline and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor construction activities at the site to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications and timelines.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors, labor teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure proper material management, checking of materials delivered to site, and maintaining material records.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Maintain daily site records including work progress, labor attendance, and material usage.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, and clients to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance at all times.
• Assist in billing and quantity estimation work.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in residential/commercial/industrial construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering practices, materials, and methods.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
• Familiarity with project management software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel or stay at the project site if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with interior fit-outs / turnkey construction projects is a plus.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Ability to handle client-side coordination and on-site problem-solving.
