We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Engineer to assist with day-to-day site activities. The ideal candidate will support the senior site engineer/project manager in ensuring timely project execution, maintaining quality, and coordinating with various teams on-site.
Key Responsibilities 1. Site Execution & Supervision Manage the erection of PEB columns, rafters, purlins, sheeting, and accessories. Understand and interpret structural, fabrication, and erection drawings. Ensure correct alignment, leveling, bolting, and tightening standards. Oversee installation of roof sheets, wall cladding, insulation, gutters, downpipes, and flashings. 2. Material & Labour Management Coordinate material delivery with factory/vendors. Verify material quantities (columns, rafters, Z/C purlins, bolts, accessories). Maintain material inventory and consumption reports. Manage and guide erection gangs and subcontractors. 3. Quality Control Ensure welding, bolting, and sheeting work meets industry standards. Check verticality, plumb, torque levels, and alignment. Identify and report fabrication defects immediately. 4. Project Planning & Coordination Prepare daily progress reports (DPR). Coordinate with Project Manager, Clients, and Consultants. Plan manpower, tools, and machinery requirements (crane, boom lift, welding machines, etc.). Follow erection sequence and site schedule. 5. Safety Compliance Enforce safety standards: PPE, working at height, scaffolding, crane movement. Conduct toolbox talks and report near-miss incidents. Ensure site housekeeping and safe working environment. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain site measurement sheets and work completion reports. Record bolt tightening reports, torque sheets, and inspection checklists. Submit daily/weekly updates to management. Required Skills Strong knowledge of PEB erection methods. Ability to read structural, GA, and fabrication drawings. Good communication skills for client & labour coordination. Understanding of safety standards and site practices. Basic knowledge of instruments like theodolite/total station (optional). Proficient in DPR, MS Office, and measurement sheets. Qualification & Experience Diploma / B.E in Civil / Mechanical Engineering. 15 years experience in PEB erection (freshers with good knowledge can also be considered). Experience in warehouse, factory shed, industrial building erection preferred.

Manage engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors. Solve site problems (labour shortage, material delay, rework issues). 2. Client Coordination Attend client calls and meetings instead of you. Give weekly updates, photos, and status reports. Handle escalations and ensure client satisfaction. 3. Labour, Team & Contractor Management Assign jobs to masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers. Handle labour attendance, productivity, and discipline. Coordinate payments to labours and subcontractors. 4. BOQ, Estimation & Planning Study drawings, BOQ, and prepare timelines. Plan the project stage-wise and monitor budgets. 5. Material Procurement & Supplier Follow-up Create material requirement plans. Coordinate with purchase team. Approve material quality and quantity. 6. Accounts & Payments Follow-up Ensure stage-wise payments are collected from clients. Release payments to vendors and labour without waiting for you . 7. Management Reporting Prepare weekly progress, cost updates, and completion timelines. Report to you only once a week.
