Job Title: Civil Engineer – Operations Management

Job Type: Full-time

Job Location: Vadodara, Karjan

Job Description:
As a Civil Engineer at Bankai Infotech, you will be responsible for managing the operations related to the construction, maintenance, and day-to-day functioning of our Bankai plants (Agrifood & Composite) at Karjan. You will work closely with the plant management team to ensure the facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 5 years of experience who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and can efficiently manage multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations related to the upkeep of plant infrastructure (buildings, roads, drainage, etc.).
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in maintenance and construction projects.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify potential issues, ensuring plant structures meet safety standards and codes.
  • Manage the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance and repair projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets for operations, maintenance, and repair projects.
  • Work closely with other departments to address and resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Provide technical advice and support in emergency situations or when issues arise.
  • Ensure timely reporting and updates to senior management on project progress and operational status.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in civil engineering, plant maintenance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle day-to-day challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other engineering-related software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial plant maintenance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and construction regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
