Job Description: Civil Engineer

Location: Nagarnar, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh
Qualification Required:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in civil construction, site supervision, and project-related work.

Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹32,000 per month

Roles and Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
• Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of assigned civil works.

2. Project Planning & Coordination

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and organizing civil project tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, supervisors, and other departments.
• Verify work completion and ensure project deadlines are met.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Check quality of materials such as cement, aggregates, steel, concrete, bricks, etc.
• Ensure workmanship is as per IS codes and project guidelines.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and ensure compliance with safety and quality norms.

4. Drawing & Documentation

• Read and interpret structural, architectural, and layout drawings.
• Maintain daily work reports, site diaries, material consumption details, and progress records.
• Assist in preparing BOQ, RA bills, measurement sheets, and documentation for audits.

5. Material & Resource Management

• Monitor material usage to avoid wastage.
• Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement departments for material requisitions.

6. Structural & Civil Maintenance Works

• Oversee routine maintenance of buildings, roads, drains, foundations, and structures.
• Plan and carry out repair and rehabilitation works when required.
• Inspect and identify civil issues related to settlement, cracks, leakage, or structural defects.

7. Safety Compliance

• Ensure all civil work is done following industrial safety standards.
• Identify hazardous conditions and report them to safety department.
• Implement safety practices for workers on site.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, civil materials, and site execution.
• Ability to read structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and AutoCAD basics.
• Good measurement and estimation skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple project activities simultaneously

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
