Civil Engineer - Retail Sector

The Executive / Senior Executive Civil Works will be responsible for managing civil works for Apollo Pharmacy stores. You will oversee project-related activities, coordinate with cross-functional teams for new store openings, and ensure timely and quality execution of civil works. Collaborating with vendors and suppliers for planning, execution, and maintenance of store infrastructure will be a key aspect of your role. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with vendors on requirements for store openings, assessing vendor estimations and cost structures, reviewing store layout drawings, ensuring timely procurement and installation of store assets, maintaining high-quality standards in asset management and civil works, tracking project timelines, validating asset utilization, and conducting physical verification of vendor bills and measurements against work orders. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in a high-impact role within the retail industry, hands-on experience in store maintenance and setting up new stores, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, awareness of market trends related to rental prices and space availability, strong vendor management and negotiation skills, and excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Soft skills required include strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment, and a professional demeanor. The position requires 2 to 5 years of experience in retail, preferably in maintenance, store identification, or new store openings. While a degree in civil engineering or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. The compensation for this role includes a salary ranging from up to 4 LPA - 8 LPA and additional benefits as per company policy.
