Job Profile: Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Position Summary: The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the company. The CTO leads the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the organization's business goals. This role involves managing the technical team, driving innovation, ensuring technological resources meet the company’s short- and long-term needs, and staying ahead of technological trends. Key Responsibilities: • Technology Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the company's technology roadmap in alignment with business objectives and market demands. • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the technology and engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Product Development: Oversee the development and delivery of technology products and services, ensuring quality, scalability, and performance. • Innovation & Research: Identify new technologies and trends that can enhance the company’s products and services, driving competitive advantage. • Budget & Resource Management: Plan and manage the technology budget, including investments in infrastructure, software, and human resources. • Collaboration: Work closely with other senior leaders (CEO, CFO, COO, etc.) to integrate technology with business strategies and operations. • Security & Compliance: Ensure that technology systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulations, safeguarding company data and infrastructure. • Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and external stakeholders to maximize value and efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role (e.g., CTO, IT HEAD). • Strong understanding of software development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure. • Expertise in emerging technologies relevant to the company’s sector. • Excellent leadership and people management skills. • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving abilities. • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Experience managing budgets and technology investments. • Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, and data privacy standards. Education: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Knowledge in MCSE & CCNA or relevant certifications are a plus.
