Chief Technical Officer

1. Technical Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the overall technical vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.Lead technical decision-making to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.2. Engineering & R&D ManagementLead engineering, design, and R&D teams across product development and manufacturing engineering.Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI), DFM/DFA, prototyping, validation, and industrialization activities.Establish strong technical governance, design review processes, and engineering standards.3. Manufacturing Process & TechnologyOversee electronic manufacturing processes including PCB assembly, box build, testing, and system integration.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize yield, cost, and reliability.Support capacity planning, tooling, and technology investments.4. Quality, Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with industry standards and certifications such as ISO, IPC, RoHS, UL, CE, and customer-specific requirements.Lead technical audits, risk assessments, and failure analysis activities.Partner with Quality and Operations teams to resolve complex technical issues.5. Customer & Business SupportAct as the senior technical interface for key customers, OEMs, and strategic partners.Support pre-sales and business development teams with technical inputs, feasibility studies, and solution architecture.Provide guidance on technical costing, timelines, and risk mitigation for strategic projects.6. Team Development & GovernanceBuild, mentor, and retain high-performing technical and engineering teams.Define KPIs, performance metrics, and review mechanisms for technical functions.Manage technical budgets, investments, and resource planning.

Candidate Profile

1. 10+ years of progressive experience in technical leadership roles within electronic manufacturing, EMS, or industrial electronics companies.
2. Experience working with OEMs, global customers, and complex manufacturing environments.
3. Proven ability to scale technical functions and lead transformation initiatives.
4. Strong expertise in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and electronics product engineering.
5. In-depth knowledge of PCB design & assembly, hardware systems, testing, validation, and lifecycle management.
6. Proven leadership in automation, digital manufacturing, and process optimization.
7. Strategic mindset with strong execution and problem-solving abilities.
8. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
