Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of the project from planning and design coordination to execution, quality, and delivery.
  • Drive day-to-day site operations and ensure adherence to approved timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  • Lead project teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve seamless coordination across all disciplines civil, structural, MEP, interiors, and finishing.
  • Review project plans, drawings, and schedules, and provide strategic inputs to optimize construction methods and resources.
  • Monitor progress and proactively address any technical or operational challenges to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain strict quality control, safety, and compliance standards in line with company policies and regulatory norms.
  • Establish efficient systems for procurement, vendor management, and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Work closely with the partners and senior management to align operational strategies with the companys overall vision and goals.
  • Introduce best practices and modern construction technologies to improve efficiency and project performance.
  • Build and mentor a strong execution team, fostering a culture of ownership, safety, and high performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations including GHMC, HMDA, Fire & Safety, Pollution Control Board, Labour Laws, and RERA.
  • Oversee all statutory approvals, permits, and NOCs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely submissions, renewals, and documentation.
  • Implement robust contract and documentation systems covering vendors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clarity of scope, deliverables, and legal safeguards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to labour, safety, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) standards, promoting ethical practices, sustainability, and safe work environments.
  • Represent the company before regulatory bodies, auditors, or clients as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A Masters degree from a recognized institution is preferred.

• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in high-rise residential construction, with at least one successfully completed project of G+35 floors or above.

• Proven expertise in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects from planning and design coordination to execution, quality assurance, and handover.

• Prior experience in a senior leadership role such as COO, Project Head, or Operations Head within reputed real estate or infrastructure companies.

• Strong background in project budgeting, cost control, contracts, procurement, and vendor management.

• Demonstrated capability in team leadership, stakeholder coordination, and conflict resolution.

• Sound knowledge of regulatory approvals, RERA compliance, EHS standards, and modern construction technologies.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and decision-making skills with a focus on timely delivery and operational excellence.
