Chief Operating Officer Head Office

The desired candidate should be able to drive the Head office operations. The COO will be

responsible for aligning departmental functions, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving

organizational success by leading core administrative, strategic, Financial and operational functions.

Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

1) Strategic Planning & Execution

a. Develop and implementstrategic plans to meet organizational objectives.

b. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to guide decision-making.

c. Coordinate cross-functional initiatives aligned with company goals.

d. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for expansion.

e. Lead long-term planning for growth and profitability.

2) Administrative &Operations Management

a. Ensure smooth functioning of head office operations including HR, finance, administration,

and compliance.

b. Establish and monitor internalsystems and processes for efficiency.

c. Maintain documentation,reporting, and regulatory compliance standards.

d. Oversee day-to-day operations of Head Office.

e. Ensure efficient utilization of resources, compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely

project delivery.

f. Implement SOPs and improve operational efficiencies.

3) Leadership & Team Management

a. Supervise and guide department heads and ensure collaboration across departments.

b. Foster a positive work culture focused on performance and accountability.

c. Identify training needs and support professional development of team members.d. Set clear performance goals and ensure employee development through training and KPIs.

e. Foster a positive and productive work environment.

4) Financial Management

a. Manage budgeting and financial reporting for the head office.

b. Ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality or compliance.

c. Review and approve financial reports, plans, and expenditures.

d. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

e. Monitor revenue, profitability, and ROI across both sectors.

f. Coordinate with the finance team for audits and compliance.

5) Communication & Reporting

a. Act as the liaison between the executive team and operationalstaff.

b. Prepare regular reports on performance, projects, and metrics.

c. Facilitate communication between departments and senior management.

6) Policy & Governance

a. Ensure implementation of company policies and corporate governance practices.

b. Lead compliance initiatives and risk management protocols.

c. Ensure ethical business practices and adherence to company values.

d. Ensure compliance with local and national regulations (FSSAI, RERA, environmental laws, etc.).

e. Identify business risks and implement mitigation strategies.

f. Maintain safety,sustainability, and ethicalstandards.

DESIRED CANDIDATE

a. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.

b. Minimum 20+ years of experience in COOor senior operational roles.

c. Proficiency in business strategy, operations, and corporate governance.

d. Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizationalskills.

e. Strong communication and presentation skills.

f. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

g. Dynamic & Proactive.

h. Impeccable integrity.
