Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Chief of Staff – Founder//'s Office / Executive Assistant to the Managing Director to provide comprehensive support in strategic, operational, and administrative areas. This unique role blends executive assistance with strategic data analysis, enabling the successful candidate to actively contribute to decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to operate with discretion in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and partners.

  • Represent the Founder in meetings when required and ensure follow-up on discussions.

2. Communication Management

  • Draft, review, and manage internal and external communications on behalf of the Founder.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Founder, handling inquiries and facilitating communication with stakeholders.

3. Strategic Support

  • Assist in strategic planning and execution through research, reports, and data analysis.

  • Act as an advisor on strategic issues faced by portfolio CXOs.

  • Represent group interests in various engagements.

4. Office Management

  • Oversee the smooth operation of the Founder//'s office, including daily administration and data management systems.

5. Growth Strategy Shaping

  • Collaborate with CEOs and promoters on growth strategies, market assessments, and strategic blueprints.

  • Identify potential acquisitions or partnerships and lead commercial due diligence efforts.

6. Administrative Support

  • Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments.

  • Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes with follow-up actions.

7. Project Management

  • Oversee special projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder coordination.

  • Track progress of strategic initiatives and report updates to the Founder.

8. Confidentiality & Professionalism

  • Maintain discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Uphold a professional image in all interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • 1–4 years in a similar role with exposure to leadership or strategic functions.

  • Background from a top-tier management B-school (IIM or equivalent).

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and statistical software.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong understanding of office management systems and procedures.

Attributes & Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to multitask effectively.

  • Ability to articulate MD//'s messaging to targeted audiences.

  • Discretion and integrity in managing confidential matters.

  • Aspiration for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

  • MBA from a reputed management B-school (top percentile preferred).
