Job Description

About the Role:

Chief of Staff to the JMD

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Support:

  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the JMD in business planning, decision-making, and execution.
  • Lead special projects and key strategic initiatives on behalf of the JMD, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare strategic briefs, presentations, reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor and follow up on key action items, deliverables, and project timelines across departments.
  • Serve as a bridge between the JMD and senior leadership, enabling smooth communication and coordination.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in workflows and decision processes.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Represent the JMD in key meetings, as required, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Manage critical stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, on behalf of the JMD.
  • Coordinate with business heads, department leads, and external partners to ensure timely updates and progress reports.

Administrative Oversight:

  • Manage the day-to-day functioning of the JMD office.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information and documentation.
  • Support calendar management, travel coordination, and high-level meetings as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 810 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, preferably in a Chief of Staff, Strategy, Consulting, or Executive Office role.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed institution is preferred.
  • Experience working directly with CXOs or senior leadership teams is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and complex projects simultaneously.
