Role Description

We're looking for an experienced and visionary chief marketing officer (CMO) to join our team at Moving Walls

As a CMO, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of all organisational marketing initiatives, increasing market share, and establishing the company as a leader in the OOH advertising sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the intersection between technology, media, and advertising. This executive will be a key partner to the CEO and leadership team, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with the company's overall vision and growth objectives.

Objectives of this role

  • Develop & Implement Strategic Marketing:

    that align with the company's business objectives and target audience in the target audience market.
  • Brand Growth & Differentiation in OOH Market :

    Position MW as a technology-driven leader in the OOH industry by strengthening brand awareness and ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message across all platforms to generate leads and drive sales growth.
  • Lead Digital and Programmatic OOH Strategy: Oversee the integration of digital and programmatic strategies to enhance targeting, analytics, and campaign effectiveness in OOH media.
  • Managing marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively and optimising marketing spends to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Fostering relationships with key business partners, vendors and media outlets to maximise marketing reach and impact.
  • Collaborating with different teams, including product development, sales and operations to ensure a seamless alignment and the execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to drive excellence in marketing execution.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, representing the company's values and maintaining consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.

Your tasks

  • Develop, articulate and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Drive brand positioning, differentiation and brand equity to enhance market share and brand awareness.
  • Oversee the creation of captivating marketing collaterals, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, advertisements, press releases and digital content.
  • Execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including web, email, print, television, radio and out-of-home advertising.
  • Optimise multi-channel marketing efforts to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, consumer insights, data analytics and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Curate pricing strategies that maximise profitability while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
  • Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations with external agencies, vendors and influencers to amplify brand reach and awareness.
  • Stay well-informed with the industry's advancements and the emerging marketing technologies.

Required skills and qualifications

  • A bachelor's / master degree in marketing or an equivalent field.
  • 1525 years of experience as a marketing officer or an equivalent senior marketing leadership role, preferably in the Indian & Global Market OOH background.
  • Proven track record of developing, managing and executing wide-ranging marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C verticals.
  • Deep understanding of the Indian consumer landscape, market dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Proficiency in public relations, business development strategies, customer experience enrichment, analytics and data-led marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop marketing professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in scaling marketing operations, managing international marketing teams or expanding into new markets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and legal considerations related to marketing activities in India.
  • Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations and their implications for marketing practices.
