Job Description

Role Overview: As a key member of the Analytics Center of Excellence in a Business Focused IT environment, you will be responsible for scaling up and managing an Enterprise-Wide Data Platform to meet the analytical requirements of the Pharma business and potentially other businesses. The platform you oversee must be adaptable to future business needs and capable of delivering intuitive analytics with storytelling elements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a global data marketplace (data lake) to facilitate data sourcing and acquisition. - Ensure data quality standards compliance and define data integration standards. - Model and design data structures, storage, and integration, leading database analysis efforts. - Oversee the big data architecture, work with partners and vendors, and drive continuous improvements in the analytics stack. - Drive business KPIs through data-driven insights and provide thought leadership in analytics. - Play a key role in budget preparation, MDM strategy and implementation, project delivery, IT compliance, change management, and data integrity maintenance. - Monitor SLAs and KPIs, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive awareness and learning initiatives. Qualifications Required: - BS/MS degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Analytics, BI, and Data Warehousing. - Proven track record of leading in cross-functional environments and collaborating with IT, Finance, and Engineering teams. - Expertise in designing and building scalable data platforms, ETL processes, distributed systems, and ensuring data quality. - Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and Snowflake. - Experience in creating impactful data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, BI, and Qlik. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction, aggregation, and processing, and ability to develop and execute data strategies aligned with business objectives.,
