Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | CA | Agro Industry | Rajnandgaon

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership for a growing manufacturer of Agro Products. Operating in a capital-intensive, demand-driven agro-machinery sector, the CFO will play a critical role in driving profitability, managing cost volatility, and enabling scalable growth across Central India and key agricultural markets.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability goals
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning for manufacturing operations
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements in a capex-heavy environment

Manufacturing Finance & Cost Control

• Oversee cost accounting systems, BOM analysis, and margin optimization for machinery production lines
• Strengthen inventory controls, WIP tracking, and supply chain financing to manage raw material price volatility
• Drive working capital efficiency across procurement, production, and receivables

Capex, Risk & Compliance

• Evaluate and manage capital investments for plant expansion, automation, and technology upgrades
• Lead statutory audits, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with GST, Companies Act, and taxation norms
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financial risk exposure

Strategic Business Partnering

• Provide data-driven insights to the CEO and Board on investments, funding options, and market opportunities in Indias rice milling sector
• Support growth initiatives including regional expansion, export opportunities, and potential partnerships
• Advise on agricultural subsidies, incentives, and export financing mechanisms

Team Leadership & Systems

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team
• Drive ERP implementation and integration for real-time reporting on production costs, profitability, and revenues
• Strengthen MIS, dashboards, and decision-support systems for leadership visibility

Qualifications & Experience

• CA Must
• 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Minimum 7+ years in manufacturing, engineering, agriculture, or capital goods , FMCG sectors
• Proven experience managing cost structures, working capital cycles, and large capex programs
• Exposure to family-owned, promoter-led, or high-growth manufacturing organizations preferred
