Chief Business Officer Agri Input (Sales & Marketing)

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the

  business vision, strategy, and roadmap

  for the agri-input vertical.
• Own

  P&L responsibility

  and deliver sustained business growth.
• Build and expand nationwide networks with distributors, retailers, FPOs, cooperatives, and farmer communities.
• Design and lead

  farmer outreach, engagement, and awareness programs

  to drive adoption.
• Forge partnerships with industry bodies, government agencies, and agri ecosystem players.
• Work closely with product & technology teams to align solutions with real-world market needs.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams in sales, marketing, and business development.
• Represent the organization as a

  thought leader

  in industry events, conferences, and forums.
• Drive digital transformation in traditional agri-input sales through tech-enabled platforms.

Qualifications

• bachelors/masters degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Rural Management, or related fields.
• 12 to 20 years of progressive leadership experience in

  agri-input sales, marketing, and business expansion

  .
• Demonstrated success in managing

  regional/national-level business operations

  .
• Strong network across agri-input channels, farmer groups, and allied industries.
• Experience in

  scaling business lines, channel development, and P&L ownership

  .
• Visionary leadership with entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Tech-savvy with strong appreciation for

  digital adoption in agriculture
