Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chemist, located in Kala Amb. The Chemist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as conducting laboratory experiments, ensuring quality control, performing analytical tasks and engaging in research and development (R&D) activities. Additional responsibilities include data collection, analysis and preparing detailed reports on findings.

Responsibility

• Take charge from the previous shift chemist and review prior shift analysis records.
• Test all incoming and in-process samples as per standard procedures.
• Record results in designated formats for supervisor verification.
• Prepare the daily rough production report.
• Document any deviations as per approved formats.
• Report any testing machine breakdowns immediately to the QA/QC Head.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the department head.

Qualification

• B.Sc. in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
• M.Sc. in Chemistry/Chemical Technology is a plus.
• Freshers with relevant internships or laboratory experience are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of QC procedures, lab techniques, and safety protocols.
• Exposure to instruments like GC, HPLC, UV-Vis, or similar is preferred.
• Understanding of GMP, ISO, and documentation practices is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail, data recording, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in shifts.
