The process engineer takes ownership for the process engineering design both in the reference plant development and in the project specific adaptation and independently create the basic and detailed design of electrolysis plants. He not only develops P&ID and plant control concept, but also develops component specifications data sheets and defines specification for automation. The preparation of customer documentation and safety-related analysis within the framework of HAZOP as well as the technical qualification and expediting of subcontractors is also part of the task. Your new role challenging and future-oriented Leading the project as process lead for all process related activities and main point of contact for customer / stakeholder / vendor. Process engineering design and process simulation of electrolysis plants Development of specifications for components and systems according to valid codes and standards Responsible for design and maintenance of P&ID diagrams as well as associated data sheets, component and instrumentation lists in COMOS environment Development of specifications for the automation of electrolysis plants Coordination of process engineering execution and interfaces with customers, subcontractors and internal experts of other engineering disciplines such as layout planning, electrical engineering and automation Support of HAZOP/LOPA and safety studies in cooperation with customer and safety experts Participation in global meetings like project kick off, FATs, design review etc. Design and installation of test rigs and pilot plants for validation of next generation electrolyzer technology and advanced hydrogen solutions Technical qualification and expediting of subcontractors as well as execution of factory acceptance tests Assistance in proposal preparation and provision of technical documentation based upon customer specifications Participating in pre-FEED and FEED activities Development of operating concepts and support in the commissioning of electrolysis plants . We dont need superheroes, just super minds The successful completion of a bachelors degree in process/ chemical engineering/ mechanical or related engineering areas is available Teamwork & collaboration capabilities including communication skills Intercultural sensitivity and willingness to travel Fluent knowledge of English Great passion for the area of energy transition and decarbonization Because our new business field requires a good degree of flexibility and agility, you feel comfortable in an environment characterized by personal responsibility and initiative Process engineering experience of > 10 years in power, oil and gas or related new energy sectors.
