As a Plant Operations Manager, your role involves leading and managing plant operations to meet production, safety, and quality targets. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations. Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, maintenance schedules, and process improvements. Additionally, you will supervise and train plant personnel, promoting a culture of safety and accountability. Managing budgets, inventory, and resource allocation effectively is a crucial part of your role. Collaboration with engineering, R&D, and supply chain teams for production optimization is also expected. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. You should have at least 8 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, including leadership roles. Strong knowledge of chemical processes, plant safety, and regulatory compliance is essential. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are also necessary for this position.
