Job Title : Engineer / Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager EHS Department : SRM / Bright Bar / Fastener / Pipe Plant Location : Boisar, Maharashtra Experience : Minimum 3 + Years Qualification : BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgy OR B.Sc. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Mandatory: Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute Role & Responsibility Safety Officer - EHS audit trackers sent to respective Bay owners & Monthly EHS review report/PPT). - Monthly EHS monitoring & Audits of all respective area is done and reports submitted to all concerned HODs/Bay Owners for necessary action/compliances. - Co-ordination with Bay Owners/HODS for necessary compliances against raised EHS related Issues/Observation/Non-Conformances in his respective units/area. - Co-ordination with out-sourced agency during Periodical Environmental Monitoring in the respective units - Preparation of Monthly EHS review report/PPT for CMD Sir/TOP Management, under guidance of Head (EHS) - Calculation of OT hours and cost & provide input to functional head for necessary action. - Monitoring of EHS statutory requirements & their status of Compliances and report to HOD (EHS) for further action/coordination with MPCB/DISH. - Monitoring the Work Permit System for elimination of Unsafe work condition & Unsafe work acts. - Scheduled EHS training (Induction of new joiners, EHS training & Awareness to existing workmen, Tool Box training etc. on various topics & covering the all respective workmen - Organize the EHS related event Celebration like National Safety Day, World Environment Day etc. - Conducting the Weekly EHS Committee Meeting for review the EHS related issues and their action plan/taken - Quarterly Mock drill for prevention of fire & handling of emergency situation - Periodical Monitoring & maintenance of Fire Extinguishers placed in various sections of all respective units. - For implementation of ISO 14001 & OHSMS 45001 certification & Coordination with consultants & Bay owners - Coordination with competent agency during their visit at plant site for inspection of Lifting Tools & Tackles, Safety Audits and related tasks. - Prepare the List of Contents of First Aid Box. Decide the location of its availability point. Weekly check and replenish the items below the minimum level or expired. - In case of accidents occur, attend the accident place and provide necessary first aid. If requires take the injured person to OHC/Hospital for further treatment. Records such accidents in Accident register. - Investigate the root cause and take appropriate corrective action to avoid reoccurrences and maintain

The Senior Engineer Safety plays a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the plant’s safety and environmental standards. The role focuses in ensuring regulatory compliance, minimizing risks, and fostering a strong safety culture through well-structured systems and proactive engagement across the organization. Preparation and maintenance of SEAL/EHS documentation and compliance reports. Conducting safety drills, emergency preparedness training, and mock audits. Lead SEAL audits and supporting closure of non-conformities. Maintaining EHS KPIs and preparing data for management reviews and global reporting. Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environment, and sustainability. Tasks & Responsibilities 20% - EHS, Statutory documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain required SEAL/EHS procedures and documentation. Update periodical Revisions as required. Monitor and ensure adherence to safety practices across the plant. Prepare and submit monthly/timely EHS data/ update monthly Proactive Site Safety metrics (PSM) online Tool. Coordinate with Factory Inspectorate (DISH) on all the connected compliances matters, including renewal of licenses, RC amendment and Test certificates etc., Responsible to renew the fire license, coordinate with Department of Fire and Rescue for conducting mock drills periodically. 20% - Training & Awareness: Conduct new employee orientation, refresher training, and on-the-job SEAL training. Responsible for completion of Job Specific & Certification Training as per Training Calendar through competent external agency. Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs. Promote employee awareness through safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and maintain training records and materials. Conduct gap analysis and work with respective team leads and plan training accordingly. Prepare reports based on training feedback to improve training effectiveness. 20% - Audits & Emergency Preparedness: Lead SEAL audits- communication to element owners , prepare general population to face the audit , ensure general conditions are maintained appropriately and ensure readiness of documents of each elements well ahead of audit , co- ordinate between auditors and auditee during the audit. Work towards achieving set SEAL score and support closure of non-conformities / AIR. Conduct safety drills, emergency preparedness sessions, and mock audits. 20% - EHS Performance Monitoring: Maintain EHS KPIs and prepare data for management reviews and periodic global reporting. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, environment, and sustainability. Responsible for initiating departmental proceedings for violations connected to work place safety and environmental regulations. 20% - Environmental Compliance & Sustainability: Support sustainability initiatives and waste management practices. Coordinate with Environmental Regulatory Authority (TNPCB) on renewal of Consent Orders , Obtaining Hazardous Waste Authorization and periodic submissions and any other appropriate actions as needed. Ensure compliance with environmental standards and contribute to facility-wide environmental goals. Responsible to meet the Environmental Audit findings. Problem Solving Complexity - High on problem solving. Able to solve the problem on time & analyze the nature of the problem EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS Required: B.E. with a Diploma in Industrial Safety, along with work experience and a safety certification from a recognized institution or Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety with 12 years of experience. Preferred: M.E. in Industrial Safety with 3-5 years’ experience. EXPERIENCE 8 to 10 years for B.E / 3-5 years for M.E., in Industrial Safety from a MNC manufacturing environment. 10 – 12 years for BSc., in Industrial Safety from a MNC manufacturing environment. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Required: Work experience in industrial safety within an MNC manufacturing environment. Preferred: Industrial Engineering background

Role & responsibilities Safety Management: Develop and implement project specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures as per TEMIPL guidelines. Review the project documentation, procuresses plan aligns with TEMIPL Procedures. Conduct daily test runs of fire engines and ensure readiness for emergency situations. Supervise the implementation of health, safety, and environment protocols by project teams and contractors as per TEMIPL guidelines. 2 Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international health and safety regulations as per TEMIPL guidelines. Review all HSE documents, including Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), rescue plans, Work Method Statements (WMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), etc. 3 Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessments on high-risk project activities as per TEMIPL requirements and collaborate with project managers to mitigate risks. Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans as per TEMIPL guidelines. 4 Training and Awareness: Organize and conduct safety inductions and training sessions, Mock drills for project personnel and contractors as per plan. Support the organization of HSE programs (JST, SGL, LSC) to promote awareness of health and safety practices. 5 Monitoring and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of machines, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure compliance as per TEMIPL Procedures and Rules. Perform internal audits (PGI) and inspections of project sites to identify potential hazards and areas of improvement. Support monthly environmental monitoring at the plant to ensure compliance with environmental/ Sustainability regulations. 6 Documentation and Reporting: Maintain HSE documentation and take care of PPE stock, ensuring that staff / contractor have the necessary equipment as per TEMIPL Procedures. Prepare and present HSE performance reports on weekly / Monthly basis as per TEMIPL guidelines. Document and report any incidents or NMDs, Analysis investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions. 7. Team Collaboration: Effectively manage relationships with the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and contractor teams. Collaborate with project teams to incorporate HSE considerations into project planning and execution. 8 Additional Duties: Conduct outdoor visits for inspections and audits as per requirements. Participate in other HSE-related activities as necessary to support project requirements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure adherence to all legal and statutory safety requirements under the Factories Act, Explosives Act, Boiler Act, etc. Liaise with government authorities such as Factory Inspector, Pollution Control Board, and Local Authorities for inspections, approvals, and reporting. Maintain updated records for all mandatory safety documentation and permits. 2. Safety Management System: Implement and maintain safety protocols as per OHSAS / ISO 45001 standards. Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), and ensure control measures are in place. Develop and execute plant-wide safety campaigns, emergency preparedness, and safety drills. 3. Monitoring & Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and behavior-based safety (BBS) observations. Monitor high-risk activities such as confined space entry, hot work, working at heights, material handling, and crane operations. Investigate all incidents/near misses and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions. 4. Training & Awareness: Conduct induction safety training and periodic refresher training for employees, contract workers, and vendors. Develop and disseminate safety manuals, posters, videos, and SOPs for safety practices. Drive awareness campaigns for Zero Harm culture. 5. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain records of incidents, inspections, risk assessments, and safety metrics (LTI, TRIR, etc.). Prepare monthly safety performance reports for management. Support HAZOP and HIRA studies for new projects or expansions.
