Chemical Engineer

Role Overview: As a Chemical Engineer at Ambica Industries, your main responsibility will be to design, optimize, and oversee chemical manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production. You will play a crucial role in enhancing plant operations and product quality as a part of the manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for large-scale manufacturing. - Monitor and improve plant operations and product quality. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process issues. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, QA/QC, and maintenance. - Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and documentation as needed. - Analyze data and conduct experiments to improve yield and reduce waste. - Support equipment selection, installation, and maintenance strategies. - Provide training and technical support to production staff. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical Engineering or related field. - 5 to 10+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process industry (for mid-level roles). - Strong understanding of chemical process design, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat/mass transfer. - Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) is a plus. - Knowledge of industrial safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
