As a Plating Shop Engineer, your role will involve managing processes, analyzing chemicals, troubleshooting issues, leading improvement projects, and ensuring safety compliance. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, documenting, and maintaining optimal operating parameters for various plating baths such as Nickel, Chrome, Zinc, and Electroless Nickel, along with pre-treatment cycles. - Performing and interpreting chemical analyses like titrations, Hull Cell tests, and spectroscopy to maintain bath concentrations and troubleshoot chemical imbalance or quality issues. - Leading continuous improvement projects (CI) that focus on defect reduction, material utilization, waste minimization, and throughput enhancement. - Ensuring strict adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations related to chemical handling, waste disposal, and air emissions. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. - 3+ years of direct experience in an industrial electroplating, metal finishing, or wet chemistry environment. - A strong understanding of fundamental electrochemical principles and wastewater treatment. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. In addition to a competitive salary range of Rs 20,000-45,000, the benefits for this position include health insurance and provident fund. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires in-person work at the specified location.
