Job Description

1. Menu Planning & Development: - Develop new menu items and specials in line with the restaurant's concept and target audience. - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented to high standards. 2. Food Preparation & Cooking: - Prepare and cook menu items to high standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines. - Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner. 3. Inventory Management & Requisitioning: - Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment. - Requisition ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. 4. Maintaining Hygiene & Sanitation Standards: - Ensure all kitchen staff follow proper hygiene and sanitation procedures. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. 5. Food Cost Control & Waste Management: - Monitor food costs and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize profitability. - Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared safely and efficiently. 6. Quality Control & Consistency: - Ensure all dishes meet high standards of quality, presentation, and taste. - Conduct regular quality control checks to maintain consistency. 7. Handling Guest Feedback & Custom Orders: - Respond to guest feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner. - Prepare custom orders and special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction. 8. Daily Kitchen Operations & Reporting: - Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflow. - Prepare reports on kitchen operations, including inventory levels, food costs, and staff performance.
